What is Your Cancellation Policy?

We offer partial refunds as well as rescheduling for all our services if cancelled within 24 hours for both swimming lessons and for life-guarding. However, booking fees are non-refundable.

The booking fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstance.

Cancellations made after 24 hours are non-refundable and non-transferable.  This applies to all reasons, including illness or unexpected changes in schedule.

Do weather conditions affect your lesson?

Accepted Answer

Light rain alone is not a reason to cancel a lesson, so your session will go ahead if it is safe. If there is lightning or thunder, we’ll reschedule instead. We’ll also do our best to let you know about weather concerns in advance.

What pool temperature works best for lessons?

For the best results, keep your pool between 25–30°C (78–85°F). If the water drops below 19°C (65°F), your instructor may need to stop the lesson and help you reschedule. Travel fees are not refunded in this case, and a travel fee will apply to the new lesson.

What if my Kids Come Out Late for a Lesson?

Our mobile swimming lessons begin at the scheduled booking time. For example, if you book a lesson from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, your instructor will arrive on time (traffic permitting) and wait by your pool for you and/or your kids to come out. The lesson will end promptly at 1:00 PM, as our instructors have other lessons scheduled throughout the day.

Please be mindful of your lesson time, as missed lessons or late arrivals will not result in extended lesson duration.

How should you prepare your pool before the lesson starts?

Please make sure your pool is clean, safe, and heated to at least 25°C (75°F). Clear away any hazards or obstacles around the pool area. Have a dry spot ready for your instructor’s belongings, and have your swimmer ready in swimwear a few minutes before the lesson starts.

What ages do you teach?

We teach swimmers of all ages, starting at 12 months old and up. Lesson structure and teaching approach are customized based on age and skill level, from beginners to advanced swimmers.

What qualifications do SwimEase instructors have?

All instructors are certified in their National Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid, and are experienced in teaching all age groups.

Do I need any equipment?

We provide all necessary teaching equipment (e.g., boards, toys). However, we recommend you keep your own towels, goggles, swim diapers (for young children), and water bottles nearby. For infants and toddlers, swim diapers are mandatory.

How are travel fees calculated?

Travel fees are based on distance and time and are added as an amount per kilo-meter travelled.

You will be able to see the additional travel fee once the booking form has been submitted and an invoice can be sent out. These fees ensure instructors are compensated for travel time and fuel.
